Why we meet
We meet in Stroud to provide:
- An option for people in Stroud and the nearby area to join in Christian worship.
- A place where the message of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is clearly and simply preached.
- A reverent and biblical Reformed worship service.
Various people from Stroud and nearby towns have been travelling to Cheltenham to worship with us at Providence Baptist Chapel. We are now beginning a monthly meeting in Stroud so that others can hear the same message closer to home.
Each meeting includes simple Christian worship and a clear message from the Bible. The Bible tells us about God, our need of forgiveness, and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
What to expect
- Clear and plain preaching of the Bible's message.
- A warm welcome for all.
- Free Christian literature to take away.
- Time for questions and conversations afterwards.
Meetings are suitable for those who have never been to church before, as well as for Christians who long for careful preaching of the Scriptures.
